This study examines the effectiveness of a ceiling-mounted far-UV-C (200–230 nm) light system for continuous surface decontamination in a simulated operating room. It explores far-UV-C as a safer, occupied-space alternative to traditional UV-C devices, aiming to improve operating room cleaning efficacy and address limitations of current disinfection practices.
